Greene County FFA Officers

What to be a Chapter Officer?

​Requirements and Expectations:​

  • Maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher

  • Received his/her greenhand degree

  • Willing to serve above and beyond 

  • Have an updated SAE program

  • Memorize his/her officer part for opening and closing ceremonies

  • Obey the constitution and it’s by-laws

  • Be a positive role model and welcoming to all FFA members in the chapter

  • Fulfill all duties of his/her office

  • Enroll in at least one agriculture course

  • Willing to uphold school and district policies

Election Process

  • Election process is explained at the March chapter meeting

  • Written applications are due in March

  • Interviews take place late March, early April

  • The new officer team will be voted on at the April chapter meeting

  • Officer positions will be announced at the spring banquet

  • The new officer team will begin performing their respective duties May 1st.
